Sometimes cameras make the most beautiful subjects. Every season we try to take some images that reflect the time of year, the cameras are the models! We try to capture the beauty of these amazing examples of engineering, and we are often surprised how stunning they look. Capturing glass and reflective surfaces is not always an easy task. We try to use as much natural lighting as possible and 'fill in' the photo with carefully aimed flash units. We always use vintage lenses on a digital camera for product shots. Can you believe that this Microscope camera is nearly 70 years old and still looks brand new! Paying Homage to Olympus for this impressive and beautiful piece of equipment If you are ever looking for specialist equipment like this, please do ask as we may have what you need. Microscopy was still as important to Olympus as photography. Made in 1955 It comprises a camera body with a tube coupling to the microscope, incorporating a shutter and a beam-splitter serving the side viewfinder. An exposure meter for the microscope cameras was available.
